1. Diversified fixing methods for convex and concave molds In the field of precision machinery, the fixing method of the male and female die is very important, which directly affects the performance and life of the die. In order to meet the needs of different customers, we provide a variety of male and female mold fixing forms, including but not limited to screw fixing, card slot fixing, hydraulic fixing, etc. These fixing methods have their own characteristics, and customers can choose the most suitable according to actual needs. Through a variety of fixed methods, we are committed to providing customers with better and more efficient mold solutions. 2. Punch The punch plays a vital role in the mold, it is responsible for the inner surface of the molded product. This part, also known as punch, punch, punch or upper die, the choice of its fixing method will directly affect the overall performance of the mold. 1. Structure form The punch of the cold die consists of two parts: the working part and the installation part. The working part is the core of the stamping process, and its cross-sectional shape and size are designed according to the characteristics of the stamping parts and the specific requirements of the stamping process. The mounting part is to fix the punch on the punch fixing plate, and then combine with the die base to form the upper die. When punching small holes in thick plate materials, in order to prevent the small punch from breaking during the punching process, 1 protective measure is usually adopted: install a sheath on the outside of the punch. This not only enhances the strength of the punch, but also provides the necessary guidance for the punch during the stamping process to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the stamping. 2. Fixed mode The mounting portion of the punch is usually combined with a fixing plate and then fixed to the mold holder. The choice of its installation method will be affected by many factors, including the force state of the punch during the stamping process, the limited space in the mold, the specific requirements of the mold for the punch, and the shape and process characteristics of the punch itself. In actual production, there are several common installation methods: ① Back table fixing method The rear table fixing method is a widely used installation method, eSPECIALly for PUNCHES with high punching force and high stability. In this method, the upper end of the mounting portion of the punch is designed with a back table larger than the size of the mounting portion to prevent the punch from accidentally falling off in the fixing plate. The punch and the fixed plate usually adopt transition fit or interference fit, so as to ensure good assembly stability. However, this fixing method is somewhat inconvenient for disassembly and maintenance. ② Riveting and fixing method In the riveting fixing method, after the punch is installed in the fixing plate, the upper end of the special inclined surface plays an effective role in preventing it from falling off. This method is particularly suitable for installing punches with irregular cross-sections. The punch can be designed as a straight-through type, thereby simplifying processing. It should be noted that when heat treatment quenching, local quenching process should be used to ensure that the quenching hardness of the riveting installation part is moderate to facilitate the riveting operation. ③ Stacking and fixing method For medium or large punches, the mounting base is wider, and then screws and pins can be used to firmly fix it on the punch fixing plate. This method is not only easy to install, but also has excellent stability. ④ Plug-in fixing method In the die, the punch is pushed against by two set screws. This fixing method is often used to make a small hole in a circular punch. It is characterized by convenient assembly and disassembly, especially suitable for the installation of small punch. This fixing method is widely used in multi-position progressive dies that require frequent maintenance and disassembly. ⑤ Combined fixation method Under certain conditions, in order to meet the fixed requirements of a group of punches, non-removable combined punch structures are often used. This fixing method combines multiple punches (which may be of the same or different types) into a whole, and then installs them on the mold. The advantage is that the integrity is strong, easy to manage and maintain. 3. Mother model The concave mold, also known as the cavity, is an indispensable part of the molding process of plastic parts, and is mainly responsible for the molding of the outer surface of the plastic parts. The installation position of the female die is flexible, which can be on the fixed die or on the moving die. Its types are diverse, from the shape can be divided into circular and rectangular, from the structure is divided into integral and mosaic type, and the cutting edge can be divided into flat blade and oblique blade. 1, the analysis of the combination form of the concave mold. For a cavity with a complex shape, if the overall structure is used, the processing difficulty will be relatively large. Therefore, the combined mold structure becomes a more suitable choice. This structure can not only make the material performance of the edge of the concave mold lower than that of the main material, thus saving cost, but also facilitate the exhaust through the gap design and reduce the thermal deformation of the concave mold. In addition, for the part of the concave mold that is easy to wear, the inlay structure is used for replacement, which not only facilitates the maintenance of the mold, but also avoids the scrapping of the overall concave mold. However, the combined mold also has some shortcomings, such as the rigidity is not as good as the whole, sometimes it may leave traces on the surface of the plastic parts, and the mold structure is relatively complicated.
